New Year, New Projects

Happy New Year everyone! I am a little late in blogging cause I had technical difficulties with my blog. This month has been pretty busy so far. I have been planning for the spring season and really the rest of the year. I have several projects in the works but one that is most dear is Toast and Treasures Official Kickoff Party for Race against Violence that is being planned by Vida Events & Marketing benefitting the Houston Area Women's Shelter on February 25, 2010 from 6:30pm to 9:00 pm at Ruggles Grill. The actual race is on March 6, 2010 at 8am at Sam Houston Park @ Bagby.

I am designing a special necklace for the silent auction and will be at the Kickoff Party. As soon as the necklace is completed, I will be posting on my blog. Stay tuned!

Please come on out and support this very important cause. I personally believe that if the woman is not a pillar of strength in the household, the family falls apart. We need to help this wonderful organization that supports survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as provides prevention education to youth and the community. With these economic tough times, this organization has seen an increase in the number of women needing their support and the decrease of donations. Start out the new year giving to a great cause!! Hope to see you there!
